DP World has entered into an agreement to develop the Al Rawdah Special Economic Zone in Saudi Arabia. This initiative aligns with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, aiming to diversify the economy and enhance its position as a global logistics hub.
The project will encompass a state-of-the-art logistics park, featuring advanced warehousing and distribution facilities. Strategically located, the zone is expected to facilitate trade between Asia, Africa, and Europe, leveraging Saudi Arabia’s geographic advantage.
The development will include sustainable features, such as renewable energy sources, to minimise environmental impact. It is anticipated to create numerous job opportunities, contributing to the local economy.
